I got the original recipe from Michelle, which was a Cake Batter protein shake. I altered it just a tad and it’s super light and fluffy and really good.
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 scoop chocolate protein (about 20-25g protein)
1/2-1 cup water (I usually need the higher amount because it’s so thick)
1/2 tsp xanthum gum
6-10 ice cubes
Blend it all up in a blender (add water as needed depending how thick you want it).
You can add peanut butter, cocoa powder, and/or even some heavy cream if you’re looking to balance out the fat (which I would recommend, seeing as how it’s almost no fat). Coconut milk is also a good choice instead of water. This is very thick and filling!!
