As we bring the first week to a close, let me just say….
FANTASTIC JOB!! I’ve been getting emails and messages from many of you saying that you’re loving the workouts and are feeling great.
I’m going to give you my FAVORITE broccoli recipe. For years, we ate microwaved (frozen) broccoli, and if we ever bought it fresh, we steamed it.
THIS will totally change the way you look at broccoli.
Wash and cut the stems off the broccoli so you have cute little trees. Place them in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Add a clove of fresh chopped garlic (or sometimes I’ll use the garlic in oil that comes in a jar). Mix well to coat all the broccoli.
Place on a cookie sheet lined with foil. Bake at 400 for 13 minutes. Take the pan out and flip the broccoli over. Bake for another 3-5 minutes.
Take the pan out of the oven and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
Then EAT!! The broccoli is crunchy and not soggy. It is soooo good.
